What’s your “superpower, and how does it help you serve our community?
My superpower is translating ideas into action. I take concepts and turn them into structured, workable programs that people can engage with. That helps the community
because it moves us from discussion to execution, especially in programs that bring people together and create shared experiences.

What inspired you to get involved with this organization, and what keeps you motivated?
I want to find a meaningful way to contribute to my community while also expanding my experience beyond my day-to-day work. Being involved with an organization like this allows me to build my professional portfolio and apply my skills in a different setting. What keeps me motivated is the ability to make a direct impact while continuing to grow through new challenges and perspectives.

If you had to explain your professional background without using job titles, what would you say you do?
I design and run experiences that bring people together, teach practical skills, and create a sense of community. I manage the details behind the scenes so participants can focus on learning, connecting, and enjoying the experience.

What’s one challenge in our community you care deeply about, and how do you hope your role on the board helps address it?
I care deeply about the amount of trash and debris throughout the neighborhood, especially in Linden. It impacts how people experience their community and reflects broader issues around resources and engagement. I hope my role on the board allows me to support and help organize consistent cleanup efforts, build community involvement, and create a stronger sense of shared responsibility for maintaining the environment.

What’s something people might be surprised to learn about you that influences how you show up as a board member?
I am very hands-on. I don’t just contribute ideas; I see them through from start to finish. I value being part of a group that creates real impact, so I focus on execution and follow through. That approach shapes how I show up as a board member and how I contribute to the work.
